Year 3 English Tutoring Across New Zealand

40 structured online sessions covering the full Year 3 English strands of the New Zealand Curriculum. Delivered live in personalised 1-on-1 or small group classes by qualified tutors.

Year 3 English is where reading becomes a tool for learning and writing becomes a way to share ideas. Our programme builds fluency, comprehension and clear writing in an encouraging space, ready for the step up to Year 4.

Key Topics Covered:

Word study and fluency, comprehension of fiction and nonfiction, grammar and NZ spelling, narrative, information and persuasive writing, poetry, media literacy and oral presentations.

Parent Tip:

Read together for ten minutes each night and ask your child to retell the story in their own words. Our tutors suggest books at your child's level, including picks from your local library.
